Monday Movie

The movie on Monday was about leaving the earth better than we found it. Woody Harrelson was going all along the west coast with some of his friends trying to get people to eat better, live better, and ultimately feel better. Some of the positives of the DVD were that it opens your eyes to things going on around you that you may not have noticed before. Also, it gives you a good idea on things you personally can do to help change the world for the better. The movie was directed more towards a younger audience with the dialogue it used and how it got some of the messages across.
Some negatives of the movie were that they all seemed to smoke a lot of weed. I also think that its not very reasonable to expect everyone in the world to stop eating the way that they do and change their whole lifestyle. But overall the video did have a good message and if a couple of the things that they are doing could be done, like the paper that doesn't need trees, the world would be a lot better off.

My Name

I honestly have no idea why my parents named me Reese, I can't remember ever asking, or even wondering about it until just now. I want to say that my dad got it from some movie he was watching one day and my mom liked it too so thats what they went with, they were thinking to either use Reese or my middle name Alan.
When I was younger, I got nicknames ALL the time, I think I've heared every possible Reese's Peanut Butter Cup reference ever made. I cared for a little bit, but then I just gave up and just let anything that started with the letter R be my nickname. I looked my name up, and every site had a different meaning, so I have no clue, although they all say its a Welsh name, some of the meanings were firey, enthusiastic, and running.

Learned During Research/ Additional Questions

I learned a ton during the research session; first, I found out that the library actually has a basement and a second floor that we can use, which you know, helps. Secondly, I learned that the library's website has a ton of database links that we can use as sources for the papers that we are writing. I thought that the lady who did the presenting had done an awesome job getting everyone situated and ready to start writing our papers.
As far as additional questions go, I don't really have any, I am pretty set on what I should be doing. I haven't had any problems this far, other than just narrowing my topic down to a more specific event. I am at a good starting point so far, and am going to go to the library sometime this week and check out some of the books that I had looked up on the website. One question I had was already answered yesterday, which was about the citations in the MLA format, but I should be good on that now.
